Camden Youth Group Workshops
As part of the Crossing Continents project, young people from Camden Chinese Community Centre in London were invited to participate in a series of drama workshops. Sessions were facillitated by Kumiko Mendl of the Yellow Earth Theatre Company and involved the group responding to archive materials through creative writing and drama. The young people's dramatic visualisations and the poetry they wrote in response to the images they saw has been recorded and is currently being developed into a short film to accompany a forthcoming exhibition on China. This exhibition will explore China through the Society's archival materials and will be launched in May 2008.
